As an, local bike shop in Crouch End, North London, we are eager to get people of all ages, abilities and interests out cycling confidently, comfortably and safely. 

That means we want to fix your bike when it’s in need – and help you find the perfect new bike for your needs. Because, as the old saying goes, the correct number of bikes to own is… n+1!

All of our prices include a bike fitting on purchase, advice on riding and taking care of your bike, and a six-week service to check that it’s still running smoothly. And of course, you can also buy your bike on a cycle-to-work-scheme and get it tax-free. Score! 

CINELLI GAZZETTA DELLA STRADA (2021)

Italians certainly know how to make bikes, and Cinelli certainly knows how to combine style with performance, comfort and quality!  

This pretty Gazzetta Della Strada flat-bar city bike is perfect for work commutes, errands around London and weekend jaunts on the country gravel lanes. Pop on a pannier rack, a child’s seat, a front rack and/or mudguards and you’re probably set for all – or at least most! – of your daily cycling needs. Cinelli calls it “the ideal commuting machine”.  

The Gazzetta Della Strada comes with a 10-speed Shimano Tiagra drivetrain and is also a great choice for conversion to ‘drop bars’ in the future, if that takes your fancy.

FRAPPÉ FSS 400 CITY SPORT 

Another swanky city slicker, by urban bike specialists Frappé Cycles. The FSS 400 City Sport, available with a men’s frame, is ideal for cycling to work, carrying the shopping, picking up the kids and taking leisurely rides around the city and countryside. 

Built with a lightweight alloy frame, this lovely hybrid bike comes complete with dynamo lights, a built-in wheel lock, a pannier rack and mudguards. Frappé Cycles is a Czech brand, and these bikes are hard to come by in the UK!

CINELLI PALIO DISC TIAGRA ROAD BIKE (2021)

And another gorgeous Cinelli, this time a perfect entry into carbon racing bikes. The Palio road bike boasts a carbon monocoque road frame, designed for racers who enjoy a long climb and want to let themselves go on the descent – safely!

The bike is named after the (somewhat mad) Palio di Siena horse race in Tuscany, and its grey and white lightning bolt design is inspired by famous Palio teams. It comes with a 10-speed Shimano Tiagra hydraulic disc drivetrain and saddle by Selle Italia.

A nifty, affordable children’s sports bike – just the thing for cycling to school, jetting around the park and venturing off road! 

Superior’s Racer XC 24 is kitted out with 8-speed gears that are easy and intuitive to handle, a comfy Italian Selle Royal saddle and all-purpose tyres. Superior is also a Czech brand and hard to find in the UK!
