Muli Motor – Compact Electric Cargo Bike
Hand-built in Germany. Loved in London.
This is the bike I ride. Out of all the cargo bikes out there, this is the one I picked for myself, and I could have chosen anything. I use it to get around with my dog Sprocket (our Barketing Manager), my daughter, shopping, tools, basically my whole life on two wheels. It’s clever, compact, and a genuinely lovely thing to ride and to own. I saw these bikes at Eurobike a couple of years ago and have been so excited to bring them over here.
Over in Germany these things are everywhere. Cologne, Berlin, packed with Muli bikes zipping about with kids and dogs up front. We’re the only shop in the UK properly flying the flag for them, and we’ve got bikes here in stock plus a demo ready to try in Crouch End, once you’ve had a go you’ll see why they’re such a hit.
The folding front basket is the main feature of the Muli. I thought it was a gimmick at first, but honestly, I use it all the time to get into places, park up easily, or to store stuff in when parked. It’s also nice to ride when the basket is closed and feels like a normal bike. Open it up and you’ve got room for 100 litres or 70kg of kids, dogs, or shopping.
Fold it down and it’s suddenly just 28cm wide, perfect for London hallways and tight bike racks. It’s one of those rare “why doesn’t every cargo bike do this” designs.
It rides like a normal bike, seriously. It’s quick, stable, and doesn’t feel bulky or twitchy like some front loaders.
The Bosch motor just eats up the hills, even when Sprocket’s up front giving me that “you’re not going fast enough” look.

Why We Love It
The Muli Motor is the perfect mix of big cargo ability and small city footprint.
It rides like a normal bike, fits in your hallway, and still carries a week’s shop or two kids and a dog.
If you live in London and space is tight, this is the cargo bike that actually makes sense. Loads of accessories to make it customisable for you too.
Award Winning Design
