The Ridgeback Electron is a classic city E-bike with motorised pedal assistance and the practicality of an open frame design, making it easy to take a seat in complete comfort.
Once you’re on board, the Electron offers 200-watts of pedalling assistance, making hills disappear and continuing to power you along flatter sections, all the way up to 25km/h.
?The motor is located centrally on the bike, making for a balanced ride. With a range of up to 45-kilometres the Electron is perfect for shorter, local journeys, commutes and leisure rides, before re-charging the battery overnight for the next trip.
The Electron is also fully equipped with lights, a kickstand and rear wheel lock, as well as mudguards to minimise spray on wet roads and a chain case to protect legs and trousers from oily marks.
Powerful hydraulic disc brakes give assured stopping in all conditions and Shimano Nexus hub gears give seven speeds for easy progress even in hillier terrain.
For the ultimate in comfort the Electron features wide tyres, an elastomer-sprung high-fill saddle and an adjustable stem enabling the rider to choose their preferred handlebar height.
