Bosch Performance Line (Smart System) • Shimano Deore 10-speed
The HSD P10 is the derailleur-equipped version of Tern’s compact cargo bike. It gives you the same confidence-inspiring frame, long rear rack and easy step-through as the rest of the HSD range, paired with a smooth Shimano Deore 10-speed drivetrain for riders who want a wider gear spread and a more traditional feel.
The Gen 2 frame is rated for a 180 kg system weight, so it’s built for real-world loads: a rider, a child on the back, panniers, and whatever else life throws in. The 20-inch wheels keep the bike stable at low speed and easy to store at home or at work. It fits a broad range of rider heights, which is ideal for shared family use.
Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line Smart System motor, delivering 75 Nm of torque. It’s strong enough for the big hills around North London, but still controlled and predictable. The Bosch PowerPack 545 battery offers plenty of range for daily riding, with a maximum of around 120 km in ideal conditions. Charging is straightforward and the system is well supported for years to come.
The rear rack is rated to 80 kg and takes a child seat with no drama. Add panniers and you’ve got a practical everyday bike that replaces short car trips very easily. Tern’s accessory range makes it simple to tailor the bike to your routine.
The P10 is a well-mannered, reassuring and nicely built compact e-bike. It slots into family life without fuss and is backed up by our workshop here in Crouch End.
