Description
Meet the Tern Quick Haul Long
We’ve got something new in the shop we’re really pleased with: the Tern Quick Haul Long. It’s the affordable end of Tern’s cargo bike range, but still properly useful — great for school runs, shopping, or just getting about town without a car.
If you’re thinking “well, that looks like a Tern GSD, but cheaper!” you’re probably correct. It does have a few bells and whistles knocked off, but if you want to spend a bit less on a top brand cargo bike, or you just want the lighter weight and no frills kind of bike (it does ride differently) then this could be for you. It’s essentially the same size as the GSD.
Why it’s worth a look:
-
Plenty of power – Bosch Cargo motor means hills and heavy loads aren’t a struggle.
-
Kid-ready – room for up to two children, with a low step-through frame that’s easy to get on and off.
-
Not a monster – about the same length as a normal bike, but rated to carry up to 190kg.
-
Adaptable – Tern’s accessories cover everything from child seats to big bags, and it’ll even stand upright for storage.
Why from us?
-
You can take one for a spin up our local hill and feel what it can do. We always have bikes available for test ride.
-
We’ve ridden these ourselves, so we can give you straight answers about what works for families.
-
Cargo bikes for parents are our thing — we’ve got the accessories, locks and advice to set you up right.
- If you see a Tern around North London, there’s a good chance it was bought from us.
The Quick Haul Long is basically a lighter, cheaper sibling to the Tern GSD, which you’ve probably seen out and about. If you’ve been thinking about a cargo bike but the prices put you off, this could be the one.
We’ve got them in stock in Crouch End now. Come by for a test ride or give us a ring on 020 8347 5534.
