The LXSDL looks back to th ose fun days of mountain bi king yesteryear . Built on our Comfort Plus last, the Lake LXSDL has been designed as a cycling sandal for adventure seekers, bike-packers, casual riders and commuters, where comfort is the main priority. It’s a cycling sandal where your wider feet have the freedom to spread out .
With an SPD compatible real rubber sole, a hardwearing microfib er and webbing upper, and reinforced heel for stability, the LXSDL is a reincarnation of a Lake classic cycling sandal , with a cool vibe for those days of baggy shorts, tees and adventure time .

Fit and build
Fit: Open Comfort Plus fit with reduced forefoot pressure and adjustable volume through the dual-level insole system. The sandal construction keeps the foot cooler while the heel counter and toe guard maintain cycling-specific support.
Upper: The LXSDL uses Clarino® microfiber [Non-Leather] reinforced with abrasion- resistant Tectuff at the toe guard, combining durability with lightweight performance. Nylon webbing straps anchor the upper for strength and long- term reliability, while the open sandal design maximizes airflow and cooling during high-temperature use.
Sole: The LXSDL features Lake’s Real Rubber + EVA Enduro sole over a semi-rigid fiberglass-injected nylon midsole. This sole system balances efficient power transfer at the cleat with grip and durability when walking or hiking. The rubber tread compound provides traction across a variety of surfaces, making the sandal equally capable on and off the bike. An optional cleat cap cover is available for riders who prefer a flat-pedal setup.
Closure: Dual hook-and-loop straps provide simple, adjustable retention. Strategically positioned over the instep and forefoot, the straps distribute pressure evenly and allow for on-the-fly adjustments. This closure system is lightweight, reliable, and durable enough for heavy daily use.
