Description
Now £1,600 (was £3,399). One bike, brand new, in the shop in Crouch End. This is the actual bike you are buying, not a stock photo of one we have to order in.
The Ridgeback Advance 2W is the step-through version of Ridgeback’s Advance, built around a Shimano STEPS E6100 mid-drive motor with the battery hidden in the down tube. It has been sat in the shop looking pretty for far too long, so it is going at under half price. Built, checked and sold with full Ridgeback warranty by our workshop.
- Shimano STEPS E6100 mid-drive motor, 60 Nm, which is plenty for Crouch Hill
- 504 Wh battery inside the frame, up to 75 miles on a charge depending on how you ride it
- microSHIFT 9-speed gears with an 11-36 cassette
- Hydraulic disc brakes
- RST Volant suspension fork with 60 mm of travel
- 700c wheels with 50 mm tyres, so towpaths and rough tarmac are fine
- Front and rear lights powered by the main battery, full metal mudguards and a rear rack with the AtranVelo system
- Open frame, so you step through rather than swing a leg over
Who it suits: commuting, towpaths, the odd trail, and anyone who wants a proper mid-drive e-bike from a trusted UK brand without paying three thousand pounds for it.
Come and try it. Book a test ride or just turn up, Tuesday to Saturday. Ask us about Cycle to Work on this one.
