Lake CX190 Road Shoes

Description

Lake make cycling shoes around the shape of your foot rather than a single average. Most road models come in more than one width, and we can order any current Lake shoe in any size and width from Lake UK. If you are between sizes or have wide feet, come in and try a pair on first.

Lake on the CX190

The CX190 blends the adjustability and styling of Lake’s higher-end road shoes with the fit and comfort. Built on the Sport Last, it strikes a balance between efficient pedaling performance and long-ride comfort, making it a versatile option for riders who want advanced performance without giving up all-day wearability.

• A dependable Sport Last road model for training, commuting, and everyday riding
• Independent forefoot and instep adjustment through dual BOA® L6 dials
• A structured microfiber upper with mesh ventilation for regular use

Fit and build

Fit: Balanced and familiar, sitting between narrow race shoes and high-volume comfort models. The Sport Last gives the shoe a stable, supportive feel with a slightly more forgiving sole response for longer rides.

Upper: High-density microfiber [Non-Leather] overlays and breathable mesh panels provide consistent support, ventilation, and long-term shape retention. A wrap-around tongue cradles the instep to improve midfoot hold and reduce internal movement under load.

Sole: The CX190 uses Lake’s nylon composite road sole for efficient pedaling support with a more forgiving ride feel than full carbon. The 3-hole cleat pattern supports standard road pedal systems, making the platform well suited for training, fitness, commuting, and longer steady rides.
