Description
The Tern BYB P10 folds 30% smaller than a conventional 20-inch folding bike, but avoids feeling tiny or twitchy once you are riding it.
Its stiff aluminium frame, fast-rolling Schwalbe Kojak tyres and Shimano Deore 10-speed gearing make it a great choice for commuting, holidays and longer rides where a basic folder might start to feel like hard work.
The clever TriFold design folds down to just 33 × 81 × 51 cm, narrow enough to tuck behind a door, fit into a cupboard or take onto public transport without becoming everyone else’s problem.
It weighs 12 kg, which is light enough to carry when needed, and the adjustable handlebar and telescopic seatpost allow it to fit riders from approximately 147 to 195 cm tall.
Unlike the more utility-focused BYB models, the P10 keeps things light and sporty. It does not come with mudguards, lights or a rear rack as standard, although these can be added if you want to turn it into a more practical everyday commuter.
