We pride ourselves in the quality of our work. Our full bike service costs £75 and includes a thorough cleaning and work on the gears, brakes and all other major moving parts. The cost of any new parts, including chains, cassettes, cables and brake pads (from £5) will be added on after we discuss it with you. Many other shops price this work as a “premium” or “gold” service.
You can now book your bike repair online! By booking online, we can communicate with you about our recommended work and parts, and costs, over e-mail and text message.
Of course, if you’re not sure if you need a bike service, just pop into our Crouch End shop for an assessment.
Smaller repairs range from £10 for a puncture and inner tube replacement (no appointment requred for this, we will try to repair it while you wait or go and get a coffee) to £30 to fix gears. If your bike requires more or less work, we will tell you and provide a quote before we start. We understand that everyone has a budget to work within.
We stock a wide range of spare parts including Goodyear tyres, inner tubes, front baskets, panniers and racks, lights, adult and kid helmets, locks, saddles and shoes – all competitively priced. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, ask us and we will happily order it for delivery as soon as possible (usually next day). We have accounts with all major suppliers and can get pretty much any brand you want.
We aim to offer good value and friendly, honest advice for cyclists of all levels. No question is too basic, so don’t be shy! We’ll check over brand new bikes for comfort, safety and snagging issues (a common problem with bikes bought from large retailers or online) and revive old ones pulled out of sheds and garages. (However, we’d appreciate it if you could dust off the cobwebs first!).
We can also true wheels, build wheels and advise on how best to upgrade your bike.
