We weren’t expecting this one. Tern have just told us the GSD S10 Gen 3 is on offer in Pearl White, and since the S10 is our most popular bike, we thought you’d want to know.
The deal
- The Pearl White GSD S10 is now £5,400. Every other colour is still £5,900, so that’s £500 off for liking white.
- Or have a bigger battery instead. Pay the usual £5,900 for a Pearl White and Tern will either swap the standard 545Wh battery for a 725Wh, or let you keep the 545Wh and add a second 400Wh battery. That makes 945Wh in total.
It’s one offer per bike, and it’s Pearl White only.
Is the white any good?
We think so. It’s a lovely colour, and it happens to be the colour of our current demo bike. So you can come and see it in the flesh, and take it up the hill outside the shop.
It’s exactly the same bike as the other colours, Bosch ABS and all. If you’ve seen someone “on one of those bikes that carries two kids at the back”, it was probably a GSD.
The money or the battery?
That depends on how you’ll use it. Tern quote 45 to 98 km from the standard 545Wh battery, depending on load, hills and how much help you ask for. If that covers your week and you can charge at home, take the £500.
If you do big miles, haul heavy loads up hills every day or can’t charge very often, the extra battery is the one to go for. Tell us what your riding looks like and we’ll give you a straight answer.
How long is it on?
We don’t know. Tern haven’t given us an end date. If you’ve been thinking about a GSD, this is a good moment to come and ride one.
