Lake on the CX239

The CX239 is the latest version of our most popular road cycling shoe. This new evolution comes with a n integrated tongue to the medial panel of the upper for a firmer foot hold , ensuring that power is maximized into forward momentum through improved stability.
It also has a fiberglass reinforced internal heel counter, crea ting a more stable heel hold, and has more spacing between the two B OA® dials to give greater zone adjustment to the forefoot area . It takes one of our favourite cycling shoes to a whole new level of comfort , fit and performance , with modern styling as standard.

Fit and build

Fit: Secure from toe to arch with a more locked-in feel across the top of the foot than segmented models. The Competition Last adds forefoot stability, while leather and microfiber [Non-Leather] options change how the upper adapts during long rides.

Upper: ECCO full-grain leather or Clarino® microfiber [Non-Leather] with mesh creates a sleek, form-fitting upper with reduced stitching and a close Competition Last hold. Protective heel and toe panels add durability, while Outlast lining improves foot feel and temperature management.

Sole: Lake’s Competition 100% Carbon Fiber sole delivers efficient power transfer in a lightweight road platform. The 3-hole cleat pattern supports standard road pedal systems, while the platform balances stiffness, stability, and long-ride comfort.
