The Bike43 Long is built in Belgium and designed for daily family riding.
With an exceptionally long wheelbase and the rear wheel positioned right at the back of the frame, the Bike43 Long stays stable and planted, even with two or three kids on board. Pulling away uphill feels calm, not like you’re about to do a wheelie. Definitely the best bike out there to carry three kids – it’s the default choice on the continent for that. You can even carry four kids on the bike if you want to! If you don’t have three to carry, it’s still a fantastic bike to ride, and we have often used one to take an adult (and a kid) on the back.
Bosch builds of the Long are not available to order at the moment. Bike43 have a Bosch powered replacement on the way and there should be news on it soon, so if you have your heart set on a Bosch Long, talk to us before you decide anything.
We have a small batch of the Shimano EP6 builds arriving now. When they’re gone there won’t be any more of this version, so if you want one, get in touch.
If you don’t need the full length, the Bike43 Short carries two kids and the Bike43 Mid carries three.
