The UTO PRO20 NE is the award-winning PRO20 frame without the motor or battery, which brings it down to 14.8kg. You get the same self-locking Loop hinges, Gates belt drive and Schwalbe Big Apple tyres, with a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub gear you can change while stationary, handy at traffic lights.
Why we like it
It’s a quality folder for people who don’t need assistance and would rather carry less. Pull two tabs and it folds, with a magnet holding it together, down to 86 x 69.5 x 46cm. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are unusual on a non-electric folder at this price, and the lights are removable and USB-C rechargeable. The centre stand is Swiss-made, and it has the same built-in ABUS seatpost lock, SP Connect phone mount and AirTag compartment as the electric PRO bikes. It fits riders from 1.45m to 2m.
