Description
The Lite is Early Rider’s wooden balance bike for the youngest and most cautious riders. It weighs 3.25 kg, the standover is just 30 cm, and the birch SuperPly frame takes the edge off bumps. The clever bit is the steering: set it to restricted and it can’t turn far enough to wobble at speed, then open it up once they are confident. The 12″ air tyres run on aluminium hubs with sealed bearings, and the seat post has four height settings.
Early Rider make the coolest kids’ bikes around, and they ride beautifully. Gav (shop owner)’s own daughter rides an Early Rider and loves it on the BMX track.
